We are very pleased to have Dr Shandith Tennakoon join our Mt Colah practice from 2nd August 2022.
Dr Shandith Tennakoon completed his undergraduate medical degree in Sri Lanka in 2008 and has been practicing in Australia since 2014. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Medicine. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and believes in continuity of care. He will be working on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
HORNSBY DRS CHANGED SCHEDULE
From 5th August 2022 Dr Fiona Murphy will be working Mon-Thurs only and
Dr David Lin will be working Mon-Thurs at Hornsby, Fri and Sat Mt Colah (Hornsby will be closed on Fridays).
We have a supply of RaT test kits available to purchase at $5 each or $90 for a box of 25
Pick up is from either the Mt Colah Practice or Hornsby Practice
FLU VACCINES are available at both practices bookings are essential.
With the number of Covid-19 cases recently you may be feeling anxious and unsure about how to manage if you test positive for Covid-19. COVID-19 BOOSTER VACCINES
Covid-19 booster vaccines are currently available from the Mt Colah practice. The flu vaccine can be given at the same time if you wish to have both please let reception know when you book. We are administering the Pfizer Vaccines. Please phone for a vaccination appointment. You will be advised about potential side effects and have an opportunity to ask questions. You will be asked to wait at the surgery for 15 minutes after your appointment to ensure there are no immediate side effects; this is standard procedure with ALL our immunisations. COVID-19 VACCINE - NOVAVAX is now available please call the surgery to make a booking.
DR GAMANI GOONETILLEKA (MBBS; FRCS(Eng) joined us in August 2021 at our Mt Colah rooms every Wednesdays from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. He is an experienced Specialist General Surgeon with training and expertise in Plastic and Skin Cancer Surgery. His consultations will need a referral from your doctor to attract maximum rebates from Medicare. Fees payable for procedures will be advised by the Surgeon at the time of consultation prior to the procedure. Bulk Billing is also available under certain circumstances.
At all visits, please:
Wear a mask
Advise reception staff if you have a fever, cough, cold, runny nose, sore throat or other possible COVID-19 symptoms (you will be asked to wait in your car or outside)
Use hand sanitiser on arrival.
